Affordable, durable, versatile sun protection for your little one

This sun protective sheet works like a dream! It's lightweight, it's BIG, it's durable, and it folds up nicely into a purse or bag. The little velcro straps come in very handy for attaching to a stroller. Best of all, it's breathable enough to be comfortable on even the hottest Southern Arizona day. My son has never complained about using it as a lap blanket while riding in his umbrella stroller, and that's saying something, since he tends to feel stuffy even under a breezy (non-UV protectant) cotton muslin blanket like those made by Aden + Anais.

Don't waste your money on the more expensive sunscreens. This one works fabulously and will fit any stroller. We used these for six days at Disneyland and had no problems at all.

We live in sunny California and go out for walks daily. Our son only liked to be in his carrier for about the first 3 months of his life, so in order to protect his little legs, feet, and hands from the sun, we ordered this blanket. We were out and about all the time and he never got any sun thanks to this blanket. Especially for the first 6 months before it is recommended to use sunscreen on babies, this blanket was really helpful in shading our baby from the sun. The velcro on each corner make the blanket versatile - you can hook it around your neck to cover a baby in a front or back carrier or you can attach it to the straps of a carrier to serve the same purpose. I've also velcroed the other corners around my waste to further protect baby from the sun, particularly when it's windy.
I would highly highly recommend this sun protective blanket to anyone. Very light weight (doesn't make you hot - even in the middle of summer), and in a pinch, it can even double as a diaper changing pad or nursing cover.
