Convenient to use, but not conveniently located

I bought this for my new Maclaren Volo so I wouldn't have to keep bending down to put everything in the small bottom basket. It's very useful for holding small things like a phone or small wallet, and of course 2 bottles or sippy cups (though they need to be somewhat slim for easy insertion and removal). I only gave this product 4-stars because the manufacturer should have considered the carrying strap when deciding where to place the velcro attachments. I can't carry the stroller easily by the strap when this is on the stroller because it is right over the top of the carrying strap. It's not obstructive enough for me to completely remove it, but I wish it weren't in the way. I actually saw someone else with a Maclaren Quest on the train, and they had one of these on their stroller too, so I guess they are popular. Overall, this has my stamp of approval.

We have an old Britax Vigour stroller, so I was glad to see that this boot cover is compatible with it. Nevertheless, it's just not very helpful.

First, the warmth. The photograph misleadingly makes the cover look like a sleeping bag style cover. Instead, it's simply attaches loosely over the top of the stroller. There's no insulation on the bottom side. And as others have said, the cover is not that thick. I live in San Francisco and I feel like it's not quite enough for the winter. I'd prefer something more like a sleeping bag, with more coverage for the chest and full insulation on the bottom.

Irritatingly, the cover is also not that securely attached. My 8-month-old kicks it off without any trouble. I find that I spend a lot of time just reattaching it after he wiggles a bit.

As someone else said -- get another kind.

Not big enough

While I loved the idea of this boot cover, it fails in practice because the foot bed is quite narrow that it constricts my 18-month-old toddler's feet. We actually had to take off her shoes to make it comfortable for her. However, I must say it is very durable and warm. We still used it in the winter months on the East Coast and kept our daughter warm...which is much better than toting a blanket that we know she'll kick off in minutes. Just wish it was a little more thought out to fit bigger feet.

Had two ripped on first use.

I have a Maclaren twin techno and before my children were born, I travelled a lot. I was committed to bringing my babies with me as often as I could when I travelled and was looking out for travel paraphernalia that would ease the hassels of travelling with twins. Hence, I came to this product, and though it was more than twice as much as the others, it was the only one that had wheels, and the only one specifically made for the maclaren strollers which has always been known to produce quality products. The first one came already ripped at the seams. I didn't think much of this as it was not tested on any of my flights, I didn't think it was a product failing. I had it returned for free and exchanged for another one which I used one time for my travel to Israel from Los Angeles. The bag ripped even before our arrival to Israel as I used it to protect my twin techno which was gate checked. The bag was not useable after that first and only flight. Unfortunately, I was so busy with my twins that the 90 days had passed since I had the second bag and Amazon would not take it back without me having to have it shipped myself, which, again I couldn't do for lack of time. But had the bag withstood it's maiden voyage, I woulnd't be dealing with the issue of returning a defective product. Long story short, it's a cheap product that costs too much. Stay away.

Large enough for the double stroller and so much more

This is a fabulous stroller bag. We use it to pack our strollers as checked luggage when flying. It is large enough to carry the stroller, the infant car seat for when we get to our destination, and blankets etc...It did not hold up during one of our flights it was ripped pretty badly but it looked like it got caught on a machine. However, we bought another one because we liked it so much and this one has lasted several flights now!

I have to give it a four though, because the point of the wheels is to roll it, but it is kind of hard to roll, it wobbles, and doesnt stay centered easily even if it is only the stroller in the bag.

Overall, a great buy!

I only got one flight out of this bag before it broke. I had to travel home without a bag for my doublestroller because it broke on the first flight. Stroller is excellent but won't buy accessories from Maclaren again.

It's so hard to get my purse and shopping bags out of the hook because of that latch. One of my bags has thick straps and it doesn't even fit in the hook because of that security latch.

Works but Smells Terrible

I gave this 2 stars because it does fit my Schwinn Turismo stroller and it would keep the rain out. However, it smells so terrible I will not enclose my daughter under this thing. It smells like a cheap vinyl shower curtain (which it basically is). I had it in my living room to try to air it out and I got a headache just being in the room. I can't imagine what it would be like to be inside the cover. There is no way this cover is worth $40. I'm returning it.

Doesn't fit perfectly, I have to stop sometimes and adjust. Also it took a while for the vinyl smell to go away. It is better than nothing, though, and the best option I could find, so I am okay with it.

Great cover

Fits great over the stroller and easy to throw over and secure. It does a nice job keeping out the cold air. I live in So. Cal and it felt a little warm in there when I used it during a light rain (not cold outside. Just wet). I will have to keep an eye on the temp in there when using it on days where it's not cold but wet out.

I purchased this because it was more expensive and I hoped that it was manufactured better. I was wrong. after 1 week of use, the 'velcro' fasteners that attach the cover to the front of the stroller separated from the cover.
