Save your money...don't buy this

I bought this to put on my double stroller. It fit great until you actually had to put the kids' sippy cups into it. As soon as you do, the entire thing flips forward and is useless. It causes the sippy cups to leak and if you don't have a snack trap, all the snacks fall into their laps. My girls are barely 2, so their legs are not long enough to actually hold the base of it steady (not that they should have to!). I don't know what this company was thinking...they must not have actually ever tested out their own product. Save your money.

Not Designed Properly

I wouldn't recommend using this product w/ the Phil & Teds Sport Stroller - the tray itself is constructed well but when used w/ the round bar on the Phil & Teds Sport model it spins over tipping everything out. There is no way to keep the tray upright - especially when filled up w/ sippy cup & snack trap (as shown). If your stroller has some way to balance out the weight I bet it would work better. Hope this helps...

Great for Bugaboos!

I love this snack caddy! I was looking for one since my Bugaboo doesn't have one (nor do they make one!) and this one is perfect! I can attach it either way, so it can be close to my son, or just within his reach. It may rest on his legs when his water bottle is in it, but it is not a problem. I squeezed a little bowl into the snack compartment so I don't have to wash it quite so often. I love the loops for toys too!

Almost perfect

I absolutely love this product. It is well made, easy to use, and I feel my phone is secure while in it. I really like that you can change it from portrait to landscape depending in your needs. I have used it on two different strollers, a grocery cart, and my husbands bike. It fit each one without trouble. My only gripe is I upgraded my phone and my iPhone 5 does not fit in the holder while I have my otterbox on it :/ So it was absolutely wonderful for a month, but is completely useless to me now.

Handy device, could be better

I received the Brica Phone Pod free of charge from Brica as long as I reviewed the product. Free stuff, and all I have to do is tell you what I think? Win win, since I do love telling people what I think.

So, I have 4 children under 5 (no multiples), to say I have my hands full is an understatement. I have the worlds most awesome stroller (valco Twin with jump seat and boogie board - no endorsement deal there, just an awesome product)but what it does lack is a safe, view-able storage spot for my iPhone 4S. Enter the Phone Pod.

Packaging was simple, just cardboard connected with those horrific heavy duty type plastic zip tie looking things. My one complaint was that the "zip ties" were so snugly fitted that I had a devil of a time getting the scissors between the phone pod and the zip tie to cut them off.

There is no assembly (bonus for us busy moms, I barely had time to check the mail for the package, let alone assemble something while I'm trying to wrangle children out the door), you simply mount the product on whatever handle/bar etc you want and then tighten the large green screw.

It mounts on the handlebar of my Valco easily, and tightens an ok amount. The "vise" of the phone pod is rounded to fit the tubular shapes found on most strollers, and has rubber grips on the inside of the vise to tighten around the handlebar. I was able to tighten it to where it doesn't spin or hang down, but not enough that I couldn't wiggle the pod around.

I tested my phone pod in 2 separate environments, a trip to the local mall and a 3 mile walk to the park. The phone pod worked great for holding my phone and allowing me to use it and check emails etc, but on the park trip after a mile along pebbled paths, it had begun to sag a little as the screw seemed to work loose.

My one BIG complaint about the product is that it is a bugger to get my Otterbox equipped iPhone in and out of the adjustable clamps. I realize they were trying to make it compatible with as many phone models as possible, but come one. This product is marketed towards buys mothers with small children, and every mom I know has their phone covered in the big bad heavy duty model of the Otterbox that adds size to their phone. My husband's uncovered (gasp, makes me cringe every time I see it)iPhone 3G slides right in with one handed ease, while still staying securely clamped. Mine, well, it took both my hands and 3-5 minutes of cursing to get it solidly placed inside the clamps. The key is that you have to pull back on both side clamps at the same time, while simultaneously pressing the phone in and under the top clip.

Overall, I've continued to use the product, and really enjoy the concept. I wish the handlebar clamp was able to tighten more snugly (though I appreciate that there is no separate clamp piece etc, it's truly one handed tightening) around my rubber gripped stroller handle, and I REALLY wish it was easier to get my phone in and out of, it tries to pull the rubber outer layer of my Otterbox off when I remove it. I've had lots of my mommy friends admire it and want one, and it is super handy to have. Just a few nitpicky design flaws in my opinion keep it from being one of my favorite new "tools". As a busy mother of 4 under 5, I demand a lot from my products and if they don't totally simplify my life, I tend to find something else that will. For now, this is as good as it gets in this product market I believe, the ease of use (mostly) and the portability of the product makes it worth my time and effort to get the phone installed.

Exactly what I was looking for!

This is exactly what I was looking for! I recently got a jogging stroller so I could take my daughter on runs with me, but also wanted to be able to track my runs using my iPhone. Keeping the phone in the basket was not working because I couldn't see it while I was running. The Brica phone pod attaches very securely to the stroller handle and I can angle it perfectly to see my phone without too much glare. My iPhone with case fits in very snugly also. Highly recommend this product!
