Smelly but thicker than others

I had to send mine back to Amazon (thanks Amazon for the easy returns) because the velcro tabs on the right side of the rear opening didn't stick together (male to male rather than male to female tabs). I ended up purchasing a different cover for about fifteen less than this one, and it works fine but the vinyl is thin so it will probably tear easily, and it's really crinkle-y so it will probably be irritating for baby to look through. I don't expect to use it a lot, just for our upcoming vacation, though, so the cheaper will work for me for now. If I ever had to get another, I would spend more time researching one that is PVC(vinyl)-free due to the off-gassing that occurs in this material. I'm letting my other one air out for a while before we use it.
